Founded in 2012, 12 Plus set out to redefine what was possible for students in our most underserved communities.

What began as a modest, volunteer-driven initiative has grown into a movement for educational equity.

We recognized that true transformation doesn’t come from helping a few—it comes from empowering entire school communities.

CENTER

Where Futures Take Shape

In each partner school, a dedicated PLUS Center serves as a symbol for postsecondary achievement.

PLUS Centers are more than a room. They highlight student achievements, disseminate crucial college and career information, and connect students with not only opportunities, but also each other.

This mission-based space encourages students to build a community that celebrates everyone’s postsecondary success.

There are no requirements to visit the PLUS Center. 12 Plus serves every student, regardless of their grades, attendance, or postsecondary plans.

Our Programs

Building Pathways to Success

At 12 Plus, we go beyond just providing resources. Our holistic and longitudinal programming is designed to equip students with the tools and skills needed to overcome life’s barriers and achieve their goals beyond high school.

RAISE: High School Transition and Success (9th & 10th grade)

The journey starts with RAISE, our program for freshmen and sophomores. RAISE connects students to their school community and equips them with the essential skills for success in high school and beyond. From understanding school expectations to developing critical job-readiness abilities, students gain the confidence to navigate both their academic and professional futures.
PLUS Leaders: Leadership Development (10th - 12th grade)

Students aren’t just learners—they’re leaders. The PLUS Leaders program fosters leadership by empowering students to inspire their peers, build school pride, and create a positive, college-focused culture. PLUS Leaders are role models, driving their community toward academic achievement and postsecondary success.
FLIGHT: College & Career Readiness (11th & 12th grade)

For juniors and seniors, FLIGHT ensures no student is left navigating postsecondary options alone. From researching schools and scholarships to finalizing applications and financial funding, FLIGHT offers one-on-one guidance throughout the entire college admissions process, helping students take flight toward a brighter future.
ASCEND: Continued Alumni Support (12th+)

Our commitment doesn’t end at graduation. Through ASCEND, we continue to support our alumni as they transition into college & career life. With personalized mentorship, access to a network of peers, and resources for navigating the complexities of higher education, ASCEND ensures students stay on track to achieve their postsecondary goals.
